In 2016, the Victorian Healthcare Association is administering the Rural Allied Health Postgraduate Scholarship Program on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, to help support rural Victorian allied health practitioners who have demonstrated a commitment to rural practice to improve their skills and expertise through postgraduate studies. The final deadline for this year’s round of application is Friday 4th March 2016.
The Department of Health and Human Services is pleased to announce the launch of the 2015 National Allied Health Conference Rural Attendance Scholarships Program. This program will provide up to 25 scholarships for rural allied health practitioners to attend the 2015 National Allied Health Conference, to be held in Melbourne 9 -11 November, 2015. Music therapy is an eligible allied health profession.

Message from AHPA: Expressions of interest are now open for (AMTA members) to participate in a workshop designed to assist allied health professionals working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), developed and delivered by Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA) and the Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) and supported by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition is pleased to announce the call for abstract submissions for its 14th biennial meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in San Francisco, CA, USA, from July 5-9, 2016.
