From Allied Health Professions Australia: Allied Health Professions Australia has partnered with the Department of Health and the National eHealth Transition Authority (NEHTA) to explore usage and perceptions of digital health in allied health with a survey. The results of this survey will be presented to the management teams at both Health and NEHTA to assist in further development of digital health in the Allied Health sector. Allied Health Professions Australia will assist in analysing the results.
Allied Health Professions Australia is the recognised national peak body for Australia’s allied health professions representing and advocating for the role and value of allied health professions in Australia. We are making this special request to you to, not only take the 5 – 10 minutes to complete the survey, but also to share this request with allied health colleagues who may not have received it, if they are not members of your professional association.
The eHealth people are at last focussing on allied health – so we need a great response rate from allied health professionals to demonstrate that this important sector of the health workforce is interested and responsive. We have been strongly advocating that incentives need to be provided to allied health professionals, just as for GPs.
