RMT DEMOGRAPHIC QUESTIONS
For AMTA to be able to effectively advocate for music therapy on behalf of its members, we need your assistance to ensure we have your current member details. Please complete the extra questions as part of this membership renewal process. All data will be treated with complete confidentiality in line with privacy guidelines and no identifying information will be shared with third parties
NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTORY (NHSD)
Developed and delivered by Healthdirect Australia on behalf of all Australian governments, the National Health Services Directory (NHSD) is the leading source of health and related services information in Australia.
The directory is searched millions of times per week by consumers, carers and other professionals; its importance in the digital health space now and into the future is clear. The benefits of RMTs being listed in the NHSD are twofold - firstly, having your practice or service available to be found among other health professions in a nationwide database will mean more exposure, and could mean more referrals, network contacts and business opportunities. Secondly, the more RMTs’ businesses are listed in the database, the more visible music therapy will be in the online health community, creating more awareness, knowledge and opportunity for advocacy for the music therapy profession. Please see the NHSD website for further details about the database and how it works.
If you are a service provider, add your details to NHSD as part of your membership renewal process and be part of this important shared national resource.
NOT WORKING AS A MUSIC THERAPIST?
If you’re not currently working as a music therapist, you can opt for the Inactive RMT membership option. While registration is cheaper for this category, please be aware you are still required to comply with CPD. The inactive RMT form can be downloaded from the AMTA website.
If your renewal isn’t paid promptly then late fees will apply on 1 September 2019. If you are an RMT and fail to renew, then you will lose your registration status and will need to re-apply. Re-application fees apply and you will be required to provide evidence of your qualifications and work experience.
Please do not hesitate to contact the AMTA Secretariat if you have any questions on 03 9525 9625 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
