Janeen Bower is a Senior Music Therapist at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. She has 15 years of clinical experience working in acute and subacute neuroscience settings, with a primary focus in paediatrics. Janeen is a current PhD candidate at The University of Melbourne and The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, and is researching the role of familiar song in supporting recovery of consciousness in children following severe acquired brain injury. She has a particular interest in combining multidisciplinary knowledge to best support direct clinical outcomes.
