Dr Ellen Gentle has worked as a Clinical and Research Neuropsychologist for over 10 years. Her initial research focused on neurological change within adult singing networks. She now specialises in paediatric neurological populations clinically, and has published collaboratively with Music Therapists since 2015 within the field of rehabilitation. She has lectured internationally on Music and the Brain, and continues to develop music neuropsychology resources and education for Music Therapists in Australia. She currently works in brain injury rehabilitation across public health and community settings in Victoria, Australia.
