Dr. Asheley G. Flagge (PhD./AuD, CCC-A) is currently an Assistant Professor of Audiology in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of South Alabama. Her primary research interests include music and pitch perception and the use of music therapy in clinical populations. She is also interested in researching vestibular screening and diagnostic protocols. Dr. Flagge is currently professional development manager for the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Special Interest Group 6: Hearing and Hearing Disorders: Research and Diagnostics. She has presented at both a local and national level on the use of music to promote language, literacy, and social interaction in children with hearing loss.
