Join more than 170 organisations all over Australia to be part of MMBW 2010.
Making Music Being Well is a joint venture between the Australian Music Therapy Association and Music Play for Life campaign. It is an annual celebration of active music making for wellbeing.
MMBW 2010 will take place from May 17th to 23rd.
Organisations and individuals who promote active music making for health and wellbeing are invited to host an event to contribute to this national celebration. Anyone can register to celebrate musicmaking in nursing homes, hospitals, schools, music stores, disability services, community organisations, early childhood centres and music organisations. Share your wonderful work with the old and young with events like musical morning teas, performances, music “jams” and improvisations, open music sessions, workshops and rehearsals, seminars, and open days – you can do whatever comes to mind, as long as it celebrates making music and being well!!
Register your organisation and event online NOW at the Making Music Being Well website. When you sign up, you will be able to download a full range of support materials including posters, e-fliers and a publicity kit to help you organise and promote your participation. All MMBW registrants will be signed up to receive the MMBW newsletter to keep you up to date with the latest MMBW news.
