Eta is a RMT from Singapore who was trained in the University of Melbourne. During her training, she observed significant differences in the reactions of the Eurocentric older adult clients in Australia compared to that of Singaporean older adults, leading to her interest in culturally-sensitive music therapy practices. Eta is interested in adaptations which music therapists make when working with different cultures. Eta currently works with school-going children with disabilities, stroke survivors and older adults with dementia in Singapore. Prior to becoming a music therapist, Eta worked as a communications specialist in the communications and media industry for 10 years.
