12th Annual National Allied Health Conference, 26-29 August, Sydney
The National Allied Health Conference Organising Committee is delighted to present the 12th National Allied Health Conference in Sydney Australia for all Allied Health. This premiere conference will be held at Sydney International Convention Centre from the 26th - 29th August 2017, with pre and post conference workshops scheduled for the 26th and 29th respectively.
As Australia works toward a truly integrated health care system that delivers seamless, holistic care across a persons lifespan, Allied Health Professionals are well placed to:
- provide responsive services across sectors and locations in a market increasingly driven by consumer choice
- develop a resilient workforce by building capacity and capability to meet the health needs of our communities
- deliver effective and efficient services informed by reliable systems
The conference will provide a forum for Allied Health professions to gather from every service setting: private sector, public health, non-government organisations and government agencies. Delegates will consider solutions to the challenges posed by major health reforms such as the NDIS, the management of chronic diseases, Aboriginal health and the interface between acute and primary care.
