Pulse, June 2012

In this edition of Pulse, Dr Wendy Magee and Dr Annie Heiderscheit, the keynotes for the National Conference in September provide us with an interview. The AMTA national conference is taking place in Sydney on September 15th and 16th and it certainly looks like an exciting event. The RMT in focus is Dr Stephanie Thompson, who is also the chair of the scientific committee. The work of Emma O’Brien has received some attention within the media recently. Emma reflects on this work with Pete Murray, an Australian musician. We also provide an outline of the first strategic plan of the AMTA. I urge you to take some time to read and reflect on the vision outlined within this plan. Congratulations Felicity, Liesel and the RMT’s who participated.
