Pulse, February 2011

In this exciting edition of Pulse we reveal the theme of Family, groups and systems for the AMTA conference for 2011 and meet the hard working conference team who will be helping to make the Brisbane conference a success. It is also time to make plans to participate in the Making Music Being Well campaign. Further details of this event are included. Dr Felicity Baker participated in an interview on her recent promotion to Associate Professor. The RMT in focus is Rebecca Craner and she describes some interesting training in Colorado. Sing and Grow recently celebrated ten years of beautiful work and Vicky Abad and Kate Williams reflect on this achievement. Congratulations Sing and Grow! Monica Zidar has included a powerful reflection on a day of Music Therapy in an evacuation centre west of Brisbane. My apologies for not managing to complete a December edition for Pulse, it was a busy time of year for me and the edition did not come together. Please enjoy this catch-up edition.
