Pulse, AGM 2010

This edition of the Pulse includes the minutes from the Annual General Meeting held at the national conference in September of this year. Taking a few moments to read through the AGM is a great way to keep in touch with your national council. Some of the highlights include a letter from our national president Louise Miles. Louise will continue on as president for another twelve months and Dr Felicity Baker has nominated to be her successor in 2011.

Rachel Nendick has submitted a detailed financial report and the AMTA is in a reasonably good financial position despite the challenging times. Lorna Sherwin has also assisted with the development of a Facebook account for the AMTA and she is looking for ideas to develop this further. The Australian Journal of Music Therapy has also had an exciting year and Dr Katrina McFerrin is announced as the incoming editor.
