Bridging the Gap Project Awarded Grant

An innovative music therapy project and after school education programme on the Bellarine were awarded Youth Foundations Victoria grants in Portarlington last month.

The awards were presented by Youth Foundations Victoria North Bellarine, MISSION (Many Individuals Supporting Socially Important Options on the North Bellarine).

MISSION involves a small group of local young people who work to improve their local communities, and last night was their third grant presentation.

The Bridging the Gap project, driven by Brooke Woodhart, is being supported by Bellarine Community Hall to provide young and older people with a social connection via music therapy and group sessions.
