Aardvark heals with the power of music… and Missy Higgins

Aardvark is a Melbourne-based, non-profit organisation that supports young people, who have faced long serious illness, through music therapy. The organisation is the brainchild of friends Sarah Giufre and Bel Harper, who founded it in 2007 with the aim of building it to the point where a CD could be manufactured and released. By providing access to the likes of mass-appeal artists such as Higgins and The Living End, an organisation like Aardvark is making the concept as relevant as can be to young people.

Giufre and Harper have been excited bythe overwheimingly positive response from members of the music industry, who Giufre says “just want to do what they can to help.”
